The establishment of Azerbaijan-Argentina relations
Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on November 8, 1993.
Activities of embassies
The embassy of Azerbaijan in Argentina was established in 2010.
The Embassy of Argentina in Azerbaijan has been operating since 2012.
On March 20, 2017, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Argentina Rashad Aslanov presented his credentials to the President of Argentina M. Macri.
On April 10, 2019, Argentina's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sergio Perez Gunella presented his credentials to the President of Azerbaijan I. Aliyev.
There is no Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in Argentina.
